Location: Pickleball Courts behind GBW Building (past Charlie's)

During this 90 minute clinic, you will learn the basic skills, rules, scoring, and etiquette of pickleball. At the end of the session, you will play an actual game!

12 student limit. Please register to reserve your space.

No equipment needed, but feel free to bring a paddle if you have one.

Joe Stone served Deerfield’s youth, service members, veterans and citizens for forty-one years with exceptional energy and good-will. The Joe Stone Good Sport Scholarship is awarded to a Deerfield student(s) who have demonstrated a commitment to community, to voluntary service to others, and to the principles of democracy.

Please write a letter that addresses the following:

Describe your volunteer work (student government, community service, extra-curricular activities) – what have you endeavored to do, what have you accomplished?
Briefly describe your career goals and how you are preparing to achieve them.
List the college(s) (4 year, 2 year, vocational, technical or preparatory school) you have applied to or plan to attend.
Please list your work experience, including dates, employers and your duties/responsibilities .
Please provide two Reference letters (one of whom is from a recent teacher and the other from a supervisor, a coach, or a coordinator of a volunteer or charitable activity).

Note: Finalists may be asked to meet with the Commission.

Application must be handed in at the Deerfield Parks & Rec Office, emailed to Parks@townofdeerfieldnh.com
or mailed/postmarked no later than Friday May 30th, 2025.

Starting April 10th - Toddler Time in Deerfield!

Registration is FREE but REQUIRED. Please visit the registration tab to register your toddler!

Each Thursday from 10:00–11:30 AM, enjoy a fun-filled morning of free play, snacks, and either a simple craft or storytime—plus plenty of socializing for both kids and adults! Locations rotate between the George B. White Building, local playgrounds, and other nearby spots. Parents and caregivers are expected to stay and participate.
